I loved it, although admittedly read it too quickly, scared I’d run out of time to finish it. Like a meal I should have savored, but wolfed down instead. Some day I’ll re-read it, soak in the weirdness, revel in the layers of story. As it was, I’m still satisfied.
(Think about the name. Say it aloud. Get it?)
Too tired to share my own thoughts, but don’t let that stop you from finding out more:
NPR link here.
Wikipedia page.
Google Books here. (“..a cerebral page-turner that pits corporeal man against metaphysical sharks that devour memory and essence, not flesh and blood…”)
Crazy.
Thanks for this. Had never heard of it before, but am now extremely intrigued and this will for sure be next on the list of new reading material.
It took me a head tip and bit more to puzzle out the title–how clever and intriguing!
E – let me know what you think if/when you do get to it.
For another interesting book that’s sort of similar in terms of presentation, I would recommend the House of Leaves by Mark Danielewski

Will do.
